1. What fish can I catch with the Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded 12cm 17g?
The Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded 12cm 17g is designed for targeting pike, perch and zander, making it an excellent choice for freshwater predator fishing. Its flexible curly tail produces attractive movement and vibration during retrieval, while the Ultra UV colour patterns provide additional visual attraction. The compact 12cm profile is particularly suitable for targeting predators feeding on smaller prey in lakes, rivers, reservoirs and canals.

2. What is the benefit of the Ultra UV colours on the Fox Rage Pro Grub?
The Fox Rage Ultra UV colour patterns feature UV-reactive finishes designed to increase the lure's visual appeal underwater. These colours can be particularly useful when fishing in changing light conditions or when predators respond to brighter artificial lures. UV-reactive finishes reflect available ultraviolet light, so their effectiveness depends on water clarity, depth and lighting conditions.

3. Is the Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded 12cm 17g ready to fish?
Yes. The Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded comes pre-rigged with integrated weighting and a fitted hook assembly, meaning no separate jig head or additional lure rigging is required. Simply attach the lure to a suitable predator fishing leader or trace, check the connections and you're ready to cast. Always use a bite-resistant wire or titanium trace when targeting pike.

4. What is the best way to fish the Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded 12cm 17g?
The Fox Rage Ultra UV Pro Grub Loaded is particularly effective using a slow, steady retrieve, allowing its flexible curly tail to create continuous fluttering movement and vibration. Anglers can also experiment with variable-speed retrieves, occasional pauses and sink-and-retrieve techniques to imitate injured or vulnerable prey. Try fishing around weed edges, drop-offs, underwater structures and areas where predators are actively feeding. For the best performance, use a predator spinning or baitcasting rod rated to cast the 17g lure.
