FAQ'S

1. What is the Spomb Large Bait Rocket used for?
The Spomb Large is designed for accurately delivering large quantities of bait to your chosen carp fishing spot. It is ideal for introducing boilies, pellets, prepared particles, sweetcorn and spod mixes. Its enclosed body helps prevent bait loss during casting, while the automatic opening mechanism releases the bait when the Spomb hits the water.

2. What is the difference between the Black and White Spomb Large?
The only difference is the colour. Both the Black and White Spomb Large feature the same large bait capacity, aerodynamic design and automatic opening mechanism. The white version may be easier to see in certain lighting conditions, while the black version offers a more discreet appearance.

3. Can I use the Spomb Large with a normal carp fishing rod?
The Spomb Large is best used with a dedicated spod or spomb rod designed to handle the weight of a fully loaded bait rocket. A standard carp rod should only be used if its casting weight rating is suitable. Always use appropriately rated line and a shock leader where required for safe casting.

4. Can I use boilies, pellets and particles in the Spomb Large?
Yes. The Spomb Large is compatible with a wide range of carp fishing baits, including whole or chopped boilies, pellets, properly prepared hemp, maize, sweetcorn and mixed spod baits. Its large-capacity compartment makes it ideal for introducing generous quantities of bait quickly and accurately.

Return Information

Full Description:

Take your carp fishing baiting accuracy to the next level with the Spomb Large Bait Rocket, a highly effective bait delivery system designed to introduce large quantities of bait accurately and efficiently into your chosen fishing area.

Available in Black or White, the Large Spomb is a popular choice among carp anglers looking for a reliable method of delivering boilies, pellets, particles and other loose feed at distance.

Featuring an innovative opening mechanism, the Spomb remains closed during casting to help prevent bait loss and opens automatically when its nose makes contact with the water. This allows the contents to be released directly over your chosen baiting spot, helping you create a concentrated feeding area with minimal bait wastage.

Whether you're fishing commercial carp lakes, large reservoirs or specimen waters, the Spomb Large Bait Rocket is an essential addition to your carp fishing baiting equipment.

Accurate & Efficient Bait Delivery

The Spomb Large is designed to help anglers deliver bait accurately to their chosen fishing spot.

Its streamlined shape allows for efficient casting, while the enclosed body keeps bait securely contained during flight.

Unlike traditional open-ended spod designs, the Spomb remains closed until it hits the water, reducing the risk of bait spilling during the cast.

This makes it particularly useful when baiting at longer distances or when accuracy is essential.

Automatic Opening Mechanism

One of the standout features of the Large Spomb is its innovative automatic opening system.

When the Spomb lands nose-first on the water, the release mechanism activates, allowing the body to open and discharge its contents.

This provides a quick and effective way of introducing bait into your swim without needing to manually release it.

The opening design also helps minimise unwanted bait distribution during flight, allowing anglers to concentrate feed in a specific area.

Large Capacity for Efficient Baiting

The Large Spomb is ideal for anglers who want to introduce generous quantities of bait quickly and efficiently.

Its spacious internal compartment allows you to load a variety of carp fishing baits, making it particularly useful for establishing feeding areas or topping up your swim throughout a session.
