FAQ'S

1. What is the difference between the Spomb Midi X and the standard Spomb Midi?
The Spomb Midi X features an advanced, aerodynamic design developed for improved casting performance and long-range baiting. It also includes an integrated buoyancy system, adjustable nose-release mechanism and a raised stem rib for attaching a compatible Spomb Light. Both models use an automatic opening mechanism to release bait on contact with the water.

2. What types of bait can I use in the Spomb Midi X?
The Spomb Midi X is suitable for a wide variety of carp fishing baits, including whole or chopped boilies, pellets, properly prepared hemp, maize, sweetcorn, tiger nuts and mixed spod baits. Its enclosed body helps prevent bait loss during casting, making it ideal for accurately introducing both wet and dry loose feed.

3. Does the Spomb Midi X float, and can I attach a Spomb Light?
Yes. The Spomb Midi X features an integrated high-density foam insert designed to provide buoyancy, meaning an additional float is not normally required. It also features a raised rib on the stem designed to accommodate a compatible Spomb Light, which is sold separately.

4. Can I use the Spomb Midi X with a normal carp rod, and is there a difference between Black and White?
The Spomb Midi X is best used with a dedicated spod rod capable of safely casting its fully loaded weight. A standard carp rod should only be used if its casting weight rating is suitable. The Black and White versions have the same design, capacity and features; the only difference is colour.

Full Description:

Take your carp fishing baiting accuracy and casting performance to the next level with the Spomb Midi X Bait Rocket, an aerodynamic bait delivery system designed for anglers who demand precision, efficiency and reliable bait placement.

Available in Black or White, the Spomb Midi X combines a streamlined body with Spomb's automatic opening mechanism, allowing you to deliver boilies, pellets, prepared particles and loose feed accurately to your chosen fishing spot.

Designed with distance casting in mind, the Midi X offers a practical balance between bait capacity and aerodynamic performance, making it an excellent choice for anglers fishing larger lakes, reservoirs and challenging venues.

Whether you're establishing a feeding area at distance or regularly topping up your swim, the Spomb Midi X provides a convenient and effective baiting solution.

Aerodynamic Design for Long-Range Baiting

The Spomb Midi X features a streamlined design developed to improve casting efficiency and help anglers achieve accurate bait placement.

Its aerodynamic profile is particularly useful when targeting feeding areas at distance, helping the Spomb travel efficiently through the air when used with an appropriate rod and reel setup.

The enclosed body keeps bait securely contained throughout the cast, reducing unwanted bait loss before reaching the water.

This makes the Midi X an excellent option for anglers who regularly fish at range and require consistent bait delivery.

Actual casting distance will depend on your tackle setup, casting technique, bait load and weather conditions.

Automatic Opening Mechanism

The Spomb Midi X incorporates Spomb's proven automatic bait release system.

During casting, the body remains closed to keep the bait securely contained.

When the nose makes contact with the water, the opening mechanism activates, allowing the Spomb to open and release its contents into your chosen fishing area.

This helps concentrate loose feed around your intended fishing spot while reducing bait wastage during casting.

The simple opening mechanism also makes repeated baiting quick and convenient.

Midi Capacity for Controlled Bait Delivery

The Spomb Midi X offers a practical bait capacity for anglers who want to introduce controlled amounts of feed without using a larger bait rocket.

Its Midi-sized design makes it suitable for establishing feeding areas, maintaining baited spots and introducing regular top-ups throughout a fishing session.

This is particularly useful when fishing pressured waters or when you want to carefully manage the amount of bait being introduced.

The Midi X allows you to build your feeding area gradually through repeated, accurate casts.
