The Trakker Ronnie Rig is a ready-tied version of one of the most popular modern carp fishing rigs, giving anglers a convenient and consistent way to fish effective pop-up presentations. Constructed using premium components from the Trakker terminal tackle range, each rig is ready to use straight from the packet with a suitable boom setup.
At the heart of the rig is a razor-sharp Trakker Clinga SP Hook combined with a Size 11 Ronnie Swivel. This free-moving connection allows the hook to rotate through the presentation, helping it react quickly when a carp takes the hookbait and providing the aggressive hooking mechanics associated with the Ronnie Rig.
A Supa-Grip Hook Bead keeps the swivel correctly positioned on the hook, while the Medium Hook Rigger helps maintain an effective hook angle. Together, these components create a neat, reliable presentation without the need to assemble the hook section yourself.
Hookbait attachment is quick and simple thanks to the Plastic Bait Screw. Suitable pop-ups can be screwed directly into position, eliminating the need for bait floss or conventional bait stops and making hookbait changes straightforward on the bank.
